Creating engaging visual identity for small scale concerts

Overview
What is Fall Nooners?

Fall Nooners is small one hour concerts that take place at the heart and center of the UCR campus. They are held on a weekly basis during Fall quarter with small, up-and-coming artists and bands.

My Role + The Process

As the lead marketer for this event, I held the responsibility of curating the event's visual identity and overseeing all key marketing tasks. The inspiration for this event was a futuristic, nature, intergalactic theme.

My designs and posts can be seen below:

My Takeaways

Fall nooners was one of the first projects I took on after entering this organization. Marketing this event taught me how to effectively communicate with my programmers about concerns and the extent of time and work that goes into marketing events. This project also taught me the importance of constructive feedback and how to handle situations when different people have different opinions.

Each week, during these concerts, the promotional items I designed were distributed to our undergraduate students which consistently ran out of stock within the hour. I'm deeply appreciative that my designs resonate with people to the extent that they desire to wait in line to get something I've created.

Fall nooners will always hold a special place in my heart as I learned to grow as a designer. ♥
